Admission Procedure
Our Admission Procedure is well structured to enable students quickly gain admission, settle down and face school activities.
These procedures are in 5 simple steps;
Step 1
Please complete the Admission Inquiry Form and return it to the school by email or simply fill it online. This form will help us answer your enquiry and ensure that you get relevant information when you visit our school.
Step 2
The child is scheduled for an entrance test to enable us ascertain the child is qualified for the class applied for. A child who does not meet the target mark in the entrance test may by the discretion of our team of educators be placed into an appropriate class. We do our best to place the newcomers into classes in which we believe they will thrive the most.
Step 3
An offer of Provisional Admission letter and Registration form into the school is issued. While submitting the Registration form to the school the following documents will be required:

Birth Certificate.

Last Result collected from former school (Not Applicable for grades R & 1 classes).

Letter of transfer from former school (Not Applicable for grades R, 1 and 7 classes)

ID/Passport of the parent or guardian.
Step 4
Payment of Tuition and other fees as stipulated in the document attached to the admission letter.
Step 5
Resumption and placement into class.
2025 Tuition Fees
Excella Academy is an Independent school and so tuition fees are billed to every learner per term. The full amount of school fees for the term will be invoiced to your account on the first day of school in 2025 and a statement will be sent to you.
Grade R - 6
R4 500 per term
Optionally fees is payable on monthly instalments of R1 500
Grade 7 - 9
R4 650 per term
Optionally fees is payable on monthly instalments of R1 550.
Grade 10 - 12
R4 800 per term
Optionally fees is payable on monthly instalments of R1 600.
IGCSE, AS/A - Level
Science Levy
R750 per term
Optionally fees is payable on monthly instalments of R250
Optionally fees are payable monthly in advance (on or before 1st day of each month) for Primary and High School from 06 January – 01 December 2025.
There is a non-refundable registration fee of R1000 for both primary and high school, and also a library fee of R1500 for all new learners who wish to join the school. The library and registration fee is not included in the school fees, and is subject to be paid upon admission to the school.
Students who are taking pure science subjects at IGCSE and AS/ A level (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) are to pay an extra R750 per term as Science Levy.
Please take note of the following:

The annual fees are charged over a 12 month period, payable in advance by the 3rd day of each month by means of stop order or electronic transfer. The IGCSE and the final year AS/ A level learners will be billed over 11 (eleven) months.

Please reference your child’s name, surname and class when payment is done via EFT or direct bank deposit.

Sibling discounts are 8% on the third learner’s termly tuition fee and so on. Order of siblings are based on their grades and highest grade is the first learner.

A discount of 5% of annual tuition charge may be credited if the whole amount is paid up by 31 January 2025. NB: No further discount extension will be granted than the above-mentioned date.

School fees exclude any stationery required.

All payments are to be made by direct deposit or EFT. No cash payments are to be made at the school.

Excella Academy reserve the right of re-registration should you manage your account poorly or have an outstanding balance.

The school requires payment of full fees during any leave of absence.

A TERMS NOTICE (3 months) IS REQUIRED SHOULD YOU DECIDE TO REMOVE YOUR CHILD FROM SCHOOL.
FAILING TO DO SO WOULD REQUIRE YOU TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PAYMENT OF A TERM’S FEES.
